I\u2019ll tell you: <em>I\u2019ll correct<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You keep thinking \u201cthings will explode, <em>then<\/em> God will correct\u201d. Is that the model that I have in Scripture?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I always let people know \u201cthings will explode if you keep going in this direction\u201d. Then I give many chances to turn back. <em>I am not the God of \u201cI told you so\u201d, I am the God of \u201cI tell you\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I tell you what is happening, where you need to change your way, and when you make a mistake, <em>I help you get back on your feet<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am a God of <em>mercy<\/em>. I certainly correct, <em>but not before letting you know<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You think any failure in your life must be <em>a correction<\/em>. Not everything that goes wrong, <em>is because you did something wrong<\/em>. If that were true, I must have sinned <em>greatly<\/em> to be crucified. But I didn\u2019t. It was <em>part of the plan<\/em>. It is true that in this world you will have trouble, <em>but take heart<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why? Not because you\u2019re capable to get out. Not because you\u2019re backed up with resources to protect you. Not even because hope is a good thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Because I have overcome the world<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you have trouble, I have no issue letting you know if it is <em>your fault<\/em>. But you don\u2019t have to make it your fault, <em>if it wasn\u2019t your fault<\/em>. That\u2019s not walking in truth. Truth is acknowledging what is <em>real<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Don\u2019t take heart because of some vague moral obligation. <em>Ask me to show you how I have overcome already<\/em>. <em>That<\/em> is how you take heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take heart.
